New Patients

Welcome — We're Glad You're Here

Starting psychiatric care can feel like a big step. Here's everything you need to know to feel prepared and confident before your first appointment.

Getting Started

What to Expect

1

Request an Appointment

Call our office or submit an appointment request online. Our team will reach out to confirm your appointment, verify insurance, and send intake paperwork.

2

Complete Intake Forms

You'll receive intake forms electronically before your appointment. Please complete them at least 48 hours in advance so Jannel can review your history beforehand.

3

Attend Your Evaluation

Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation — typically 60 to 90 minutes. Jannel will review your history, discuss your concerns, and begin building your care plan.

4

Receive Your Care Plan

At the end of your evaluation, you'll receive a personalized treatment plan including any medication recommendations, follow-up schedule, and referrals if needed.
